Brilliant Basics
What do you think about the Graphic new pictures to be printed on cigarette packets?

What are your opinions? Do you think this will be more effective rather than having just the basic written warnings on the pack? I think it’s a brilliant idea…although it has not been out for a while, the idea already has received a lot of angry feedback. What is your input on this?

I think it is a really bad idea. Children will see the labels when they go into the shop to buy sweets. Images like this have to have a warning on TV if it is before the watershed. If I saw this when I was a young kid, it would scare me. I remember seeing a cartoon where a man was pecked to death by pigeons. It was awful and wasn’t on late, with no warning. It just looked like a kids cartoon at first. I had a nightmare that night, these labels will do the same to kids as that cartoon did to me. If someone is addicted to smoking, they are not going to stop because of some pictures, no matter how bad they are.
The government has gone way too far with this and the smoking ban. Pubs have lost business, with some small ones being forced to shut.

I personally do not want to go into a shop and see those – they put them right behind where you pay so I will have no choice.

Btw, I’m a non smoker.

Review of Tim Sales – Professional Inviter and Brilliant Questions – Worth the Money?

Tim Sales is a trainer for the Network Marketing industry and is the creator of a few different products such as Professional Inviter, Brilliant Questions, and Brilliant Compensation just to name a few.  But are you really getting your money’s worth purchasing these materials?

Let’s take a step back and figure out why Tim Sales has created these products.  Take Brilliant Compensation for example.  This is a video of Tim Sales giving an in-depth review of the Network Marketing industry.  He goes through very logical arguments of why Network Marketing is a legitimate business.  But I think Tim Sales wants to do much more then just help others with the understanding of what Network Marketing or Multi Level Marketing (MLM) means.

Tim Sales has created a number of tools to help people get the proper training to build a Network Marketing Business.  If You Are questioning whether or not you should make the investment and purchase one of Tim’s training tools such as Professional Inviter or Brilliant Compensation, you need to first ask yourself a few questions.

I believe that many people enter this industry thinking that it’s going to be easy and that they don’t need to get trained on how to build a Network Marketing Business.  This is understandable as many people are taught to recruit others by says, “I think this will be very good for you”, or “I know you’re going to do well at this”.  The truth is you don’t.  In my four years experience in the Network Marketing industry, time and time again I am surprised at who ‘succeeds’ in this business.  So some of the questions that you need to ask yourself are;

- Do you need to get trained to move your business forward?

- Do you have the skills to build a successful business?

- Do you know how to effectively market and promote your business, even after you hit the bottom of your names list?

Understand this, your best thinking has gotten you to where you are now. Period.  If you don’t think you need the training – then you must be happy with where you are at.  So some people think it is luck that builds your business.  Tim Sales does not.

Tim Sales has broken down the activities of a network marketer into 3 basic parts. Invite, Present, Train.  Tim methodically breaks down each of these activities and gives a step-by-step guide of what to say and how to say it.  He gives you a better understanding of how to approach people so you feel comfortable knowing that you are only there to help the other person.  I have witnessed many ‘light bulbs’ go off with people who are exposed to Professional Inviter and Brilliant Compensation as they feel confident in what they are saying as well as what they are promoting.

Products such as Brilliant Questions and Brilliant Communicator go into even greater detail helping people know what to say to the prospects, and how to say it.  So it goes without saying that if you are serious about building your network marketing business, you need to get exposed to the right training.  Tim Sales has a flaw though… and that is he is only teaching people outdated methods.  Sure these traditional methods can (and for some do) work.  But approaching friends and family, calling leads, presenting at hotel meetings, is hardly an attractive “Business building activity” for many.

So if you want to sharpen your communication skills or if you have any doubt about the industry, then yes, purchasing Tim Sales products is worth the investment.  But to learn new strategies to build and market your business, Tim Sales falls short.  If you’re looking for more “how to build” answers make sure to check out my link below.
